Would you like to see the Diva Search return?
The diva search used to be a talent competition held by the WWE from 2004 to 2007 (and one last time in 2013, though it wasn't public). It gave us some iconic segments/moments and Queens like Christy Hemme, Layla, Eve Torres, Maria Kanellis, Kristal, Michelle McCool, Lana, The Bella twins, Maryse, etc. Despite being criticized and hated by smarks, It produced more female stars and legends than tough enough. Some of the girls even lasted over a decade in this business (e.g. Bellas, Maria and Maryse). With the rise of the Womens revolution and WWE showing more interest towards indy wrestlers, it seems like the diva search is unlikely to return anytime soon. But, if it were to return one day in the future, would you get excited? Or do you feel that it's something that should be left in the past? What are your thoughts?
Which Diva Search produced the most success stories in wrestling?
From 2004 to 2007 (and one last time in 2013), the WWE held a talent competition named Diva Search between 10 women, where the winner would receive a contract with the company. In addition to the winners of the yearly contest, WWE has hired several contestants as Divas. Many of the women went on to become popular/successful and made their impacts in mainstream women's wrestling. The Diva Search also produced more stars and success stories than Tough Enough. So which year of the Diva Search do you guys feel gave the most success stories? Vote and discuss!
