I still believe the report was accurate and she’s done.

Nn, I don’t. They would have surely confirmed it. It seems like an angle at this point, or they’ll wait for her to recover.

It might be the latter. They’re probably hoping it’s a Nikki situation where her neck just needs some more time to fully heal, especially after taking that hit during the live show.

I’m hoping it is a work though.

@realpaigewwe may not be competing in the woman’s royal rumble, but she isn’t going anywhere!

I honestly want it to be wrong but it seems legit. A Nikki Bella miracle situation would be amazing but I’m not sure how likely it is for Paige factoring in her scoliosis.

Also, I know the company has a bad history when it comes to effort but I can’t help but think that they’re doing this for the drama that it will produce at the RR. It’ll be very hard for the women to actually compete with the men’s rumble as far as quality goes due to inexperience so I think they might really turn it into a big Paige can’t compete, until she does and wins as the #30th entrant. :skull: Maybe I’m being way optimistic but they’ve done it before with the “”first evers””- The Money In The Bank by having James grab the briefcase & HIAC by having Sasha feign a back injury.

IDK.

I don't think she is in the Rumble but rather I think they are waiting for a final prognosis AKA delaying it as much as they can to see if anything improves as they have plenty of time to wait it out. When Edge retired, I believe WWE broke it first and controlled the situation by explaining what it was, rather than dirtsheets beating them to it and them having to go from there. Bryan didn't retire until a full year after he had been on the shelf, and even now, he's still looking to return :rot:

If she can't return in a timely fashion, obviously Mandy and Sonya will go on to something else, but she can still remain in the loop and then have a role at some point down the line. She's twenty five and they've had a man who had a stroke wrestle a match in WWE. If it's not life threatening, I'm sure they could accommodate it and let her have some sort of payoff. :skull:  I'm curious to see what the 'sheets will concoct in response to it.
