Liv Morgan Suffered Concussion on Raw

28 posts in this topic

Ah, it's officially a concussion. Get well soon.

Quote

WWE superstar Liv Morgan did in fact suffer a concussion during "Raw" when Brie Bellaaccidentally landed a "Yes" kick to her head ... this according to WWE.

Brie and Liv were participating in a 6-way tag team match on Monday when Brie delivered a series of leg kicks that were supposed to land on Liv's chest.

But, one of the kicks connected with Liv's head and you can see her body go limp. Brie rolled Liv over and quickly tried to get Liv out of the ring so she could be examined by a WWE ringside medic.

We reached out to WWE to find out how Liv was doing and we were told she was later diagnosed with a concussion and is now going through the proper protocol under the company's comprehensive wellness program.

According to the wellness program guidelines, Liv will have to be medically cleared before she can return to action. No word on how long that's expected to take.

After the match, Brie tweeted out to Liv that she didn't intend to injure her -- and said her thoughts were with the wrestler.

she needs to take as much time as she needs - concussions are no joke. Sucks that she'll most likely miss the Australia PPV and most likely Evolution- but longterm she shouldn't rush this injury.

And MESS at people fucking crucifying Brie everywhere :rot: They will take any ammunition and use it against the poor Bellas. Accidents happen so idk why people are so up against Brie's throat :/ she really doesnt deserve it tbh. (she should probably hang up the boots sooner than planned tho after this rusty ass return but that's another story)

Hopefully it’s not that serious :sasha: Brie’s neck is going to be in the same condition as Nicki’s by the end of this week :shook:

Hopefully this doesn't scare her into not wanting to bump any longer because her selling is on point. Wishing her all the best.

I hate she's going to miss Evolution and the Australian PPV, especially since she was already booked for one and likely would have been for the other.

Ugh I hope she doesn't let this scare her or effect her too much, accidents happen, and she's the Kelly Kelly of bumps

Fuck....I don't need this heat on my fav, can Mandy say something stupid again? I'm willing to sacrifice another fav.

I hope Liv gets better soon and takes her time getting back in the ring. She's so young and is full of potential.

Brie obviously didn't mean to hurt her, but I wouldn't mind her taking a backseat and cooling down the wrestling for the time being. Maybe train a little more before getting active. Her return has been so messy thus far, from the suicide dives, the matches with Maryse, and now this.

Why did the producers even let Liv continue the match? The way they handled that spot was so unprofessional. They should have stopped immediately and escorted her to the back. And the fact that it took her working a match concussed to shut down critics that questioned her work ethic is equally tragic. These people shouldn’t have to go to all those lengths for validation but that’s for another discussion

The timing was absolutely jacked. Liv deserves a lot of love because those two to the face were NASTY. Brie is really gonna hurt someone worse if she continues like this.

Oh! I hope she will recover quickly!

Time for Brie to hang it up! She can't keep up and she is dangerous.

It was an unfortunate situation and Brie tried her best to recover and make sure Liv was okay. Hopefully her recovery goes smoothly and she isn’t out for to long.

Hopefully it's not a major concussion and she can be back in action soon! Would hate to see her miss out on Evolution due to inury after she's been working so had with the Riott Squad.

She’s a tough bitch who’s been the most improved of any girl in the last year tbh. Suddenly I don’t mind Ms. Pizza!

    • Asuka's Title Challengers
      By Kat
So now that Asuka is the new RAW Women's Champion who do ya'll want to see her face for the title? I personally would love to see her have fresh feuds with girls like Bianca Belair, Liv Morgan, Ruby Riott and the eventual face off with Kairi Sane. It feels like a good opportunity to build up new talent seeing as her previous rivals (Charlotte, Baysha, Alexa, Ronda, Becky etc) are on different brands or not wrestling atm so that leaves a big chance for new girls to be involved in the title picture on RAW.
So who do ya'll want to see?

Morgan’s promo time, loss to Charlotte and promo after losing about how she’s got to be real is to lead to a new character and a new look.
Is Miss Pizza the next big thing?? Depending on her promo skills, I could see her being a better version of A.J. Lee. She’s cute, nerdy but sexy and has the relatable dork qualities that Jessie Elaban can only dream of having.
