The Goddess is on the sidelines for now, but that doesn't mean she's out of the spotlight just yet.

Multiple outlets have reported on Mike Johnson's tip on the PWInsider Elite Hotline about Alexa Bliss' recent concussion tests in Los Angeles not spelling out an imminent in-ring return, but not ruling it out indefinitely. Bliss, a five-time Women's Champion and the most marketed in terms of external press and merchandising among the homegrown girls in WWE, has been a main fixture on Raw since she was moved to the brand in 2017, and her presence (or lack thereof) would be felt in whatever role she'd be put in.

That begs the question-- what should happen in the synapse? What role would you give Alexa Bliss that doesn't involve her competing in the ring?

Obviously I love for her to get some time off since she's been doing the schedule for like 2 years now, but that's unrealistic knowing WWE.

She'll probably end up as the GM of Raw which I think she would excel at. I would hope she gets some better goons than Nia and Tamina though.

I also wouldn't hate her managing Buddy if he wasn't only on 205 Live.

She'd slay as a GM. Or, she has already shown from her time in NXT that she can manage wrestlers. I'm not sure about putting her on 205 Live as they just got Maria, but have her manage someone on Raw.

I was hoping they would literally give her some time off to recover and then come back but that won't be the case clearly. However, I suppose managing someone is the best she can do at the moment.

I would like it if she took sometime to recover but knowing WWE that isn't going to happen. I think she would be an excellent RAW GM.

She'd make a fantastic Raw GM though I was thinking WWE might eventually give the women their own GM's in Paige and Alexa while Shane and Baron manage the men.

She'd be a great GM. Far more entertaining than the two we already have.

Make her Braun's valet when he returns. If they are going to keep pushing him at least do something new with him :frecklefox:

Pair her up with Baron/Drew or send her home.

why cant they give her time to recover??? She's not needed atm

Give her time to rest until Royal Rumble. If she can compete, let her do the Rumble. If not, debut her as the RAW General Manager. She'll excel at that.

tbh she has the Maryse-Dibiase syndrome where if she manages someone, she'll take the limelight away from whoever she's managing, rather than enhancing their limelight. Just look at when she managed Mickie/Alicia.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder. She's been front and center since coming to RAW in 2017 and could probably use a break. Her still being involved in the current narrative for no real reason isn't doing her any favors, especially when she isn't even serving looks. Take her off TV so she can heal and maybe actually come back to some fresh material/direction.

This. Come back for revenge when someone needs a new top heel rival after they just won something.

She’s easy to hate and can get back flowing upon return pretty quickly. We don’t need her standing at ringside ala Paige with Absolution or cutting promo for girls who simply can’t or won’t do it to her level.

Also, I don’t want the female GM role played out.

if she manages buddy that would be 10/10 as we could even get a set of maria v alexa interactions on 205

@Vinaro and i are quaking

also the idea just came into my head after what i posted in the other thread but i'd live for her to team with corbin as a valet/wrestler (like zelina/andrade)

I'd rather have her take some time off because her return pop would be huge and it'll allow her to take that momentum for a face turn.

If she stays onscreen, have Alexa announce that she's looking for Raw talent that is worthy of her managerial services since she's bored of dominating the women's division. Throw in a snide remark that she's letting the other girls on the roster have their time to shine since her star shines the brightest. This becomes a tournament where Alexa would actively scout the matches and ultimately makes her decision at the end. AKA The winner is a face but she decides to manage the loser heel instead. That sets up the first feud. I like Buddy but I think a Raw Superstar (male) should be the victor. I hate myself for writing this since it won't happen.

A Heel GM run has been done to death and would only be cute for some out-of-the-box character interactions at best. So, yeah. WWE will choose this option.

I've given up on time off + face return so might as well go ahead and make this shit interesting, have her come down during Baron vs. Braun to tip over the latter's ladder a la AJ and then become GM or assistant a la Eve :shook:

My thoughts exactly. Everything that she's been doing lately feels so filler. I really wanted her to have some time off for a while so I could have a chance to miss her. Right now she's kinda just there and her character needs to be revitalized anyway. Send her home, I'm sure her pig is waiting.

As most have said, time off would be her best option. Give her time to heel and reboot and come back to a big pop (regardless of alignment).

But since we all know that's most likely not an option, I'd really enjoy seeing her in some kind of power role. If Corbin ends up becoming permanent GM, I'd enjoy seeing her do something assistant-esque a la Eve. Or, if he doesn't go permanent, I'd love to see her take his place as GM for the time being. I could see her character really flourishing in one of those situations.

If she were to manage a guy, I'd want it to be Murphy. She and Maria could also feud on 205 Live leading up to an eventual match between the two of them (or the two pairs) once Alexa can get back in the ring. But I could also see her pairing back up with Braun and continuing the storyline from MMC since it was so well-received before. She has endless possibilities outside of being a competitor because she's good on the mic.

    • Alexa Talks Nikki Cross, Return to Ring, and New 365 Special
      By Twisted Bliss
After only being home for 24 hours in one month there are two things that keep in-demand WWE superstar Alexa Bliss going: concealer for dark circles and concealer to energize the body.
The former multi-time women’s champion has been busy circling the globe and wouldn’t have it any other way. A recent travel itinerary took her and Natalya to Saudi Arabia, which recently hosted Super ShowDown. The 27-year-old spent time shopping, participating in a hospital visit and taking in the environment in Jeddah. She believes progress is being made when it comes to featuring women on the card of these big events.
“I didn’t really know what to expect in Saudi Arabia,” Bliss said.
“I knew it wasn’t going to be like Abu Dhabi. It’s very interesting to see how everything is over there. We had fun. When Nattie and I got to interact with kids in the hospital, they knew who we were. They know the product. The show itself was awesome. It was actually a really good experience.
“...Every woman Natalya and I spoke to were super welcoming and asking us how we liked Jeddah. They said whatever they could do to make our stay better to let them know. Women there were just so excited to meet us. We had so many come up to us thanking us for coming and how they really hope to see a match. I think it’s definitely within reach. Everyone seems to be on board with us having match there.”
Viewers have also been for the recent friendship blossoming between Bliss and emerging talent Nikki Cross. Knowing the feeling the fresh face on the main roster, "The Goddess" has taken a liking to the NXT call-up.
      WWE
“I love working with characters who are new and haven’t been in the title picture,” Bliss said. “We are just having fun with it. That’s the best part of it. Everything we are doing, interacting, is just us. I think us having reads nice on camera with our natural chemistry.
“We’ve been traveling together. It’s always fun when you get along with the person you work with. That can help. We haven’t seen her too much on WWE TV, so if this helps build her character while having fun at the same time, it’s a good situation to be in.”
Heel or babyface, Bliss looks for enjoyment with every segment and seeing where a particular story can go. An element of her recent run that has developed a life of its own has been an infatuation with coffee. It has gotten to the point where fans can purchase “Twisted Bliss Coffee” t-shirts and mugs.
“That was 100 percent organic. With ‘Moment of Bliss’ I’ve had coffee sitting on the table every week. So that was never a new thing. The coffee bits have been there,” Bliss explained.
“I knew I was going to be ringside for a particular match and look disinterested, so I just brought my coffee with me. It became a thing after that because I just stood ringside drinking my coffee. Nobody really has stood ringside drinking coffee, so I thought when I go backstage Vince [McMahon] would either like it or fire me. They ended up liking it.”
And for those wondering what Bliss’ go-to coffee order is, it depends on location. Domestically, it’s an almond milk latte with sugar-free mocha and two Splendas. The way to her heart internationally is the same drink, only with sugar-free vanilla and two sweeteners. Getting past the java talk, Bliss is glad to return regularly to the ring after being sidelined by concussions.
“At first I was very nervous, coming back to the ring because I didn’t know exactly what was going on in my head,” she said. “I knew I had a concussion, but I didn’t really research concussions. Then I was sent to a concussion specialist in Pittsburgh who pretty much schooled me on pretty much everything on concussions.
“It made me feel a lot better about the whole situation. It made me feel I was in charge of my injury. It made me feel like I understood it. I’m definitely not nervous at all being in the ring. I was at first, but now that I’m educated on the topic and know the steps to take to make sure it doesn’t happen again. With the brain exercises that I do and eye exercises, I feel like I’m more prepared than ever now.”
Coming up at the Stomping Grounds pay-per-view, Bliss is gearing up to face Bayley for the SmackDown Live women’s championship. The challenger is admittedly surprised to be back in the title picture so soon, but is grateful for the opportunity.
“I’m happy to see the different kind of Bayley,” Bliss said. “I feel like for a while we lost Bayley a little bit in the Boss ‘n’ Hug Connection just because Sasha’s personality is so big. I feel like sometimes you need to hear from Bayley a little bit more.
“The fact that she is able to show this more aggressive side just helps the character so much more and the people as well. It’s just a lot of fun to be a character and see it change over time. The fact she is reinventing herself is awesome.”
Those who can’t get enough of Bliss can stay on the WWE Network after Stomping Grounds as the popular superstar is the subject of the latest installment of WWE 365. The documentary chronicles her journey from one calendar year from one WrestleMania to another. Bliss remembers first being approached about the project and not thinking she was interesting enough.
“It’s crazy to see,” she said. “It was crazy to see the roller coaster that it was. They literally have everything in there. Every concussion, every setback, every time I was told I wasn’t clear. Then working out at the Performance Center trying to get cleared. It just showed that whole process. I just saw a rough cut of it, and it was crazy to watch it back to see how much a person can go through in a year and not even realize it.

    • Alexa And Natalya Flying to Saudi Arabia
      By Twisted Bliss
There's now heavy speculation on WWE doing a women's division match at WWE Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia on Friday. This would be the first time female Superstars perform in the Kingdom, if it happens.
We noted earlier, via PWInsider, that Natalya is making the trip to Saudi Arabia for Friday's big event in Jeddah. Fightful has since revealed that Alexa Bliss is also making the trip. There's no official word yet on why they are making the trip to the Kingdom, or if they will appear. Renee Young is also making the trip over, but she will likely be calling the show as she did at Crown Jewel last year.
Furthermore, @Wrestlevotes reported today that WWE discussed doing a women's match at Super ShowDown several months ago. The idea then was to do Nia Jax vs. Natalya, but Jax is currently out of action with an injury. It looks like they might do Bliss vs. Natalya now, which would be huge for WWE due to local laws and customs that have prevented women from wrestling there.
    • Alexa Bliss Announced For Smackdown
      By Twisted Bliss
WWE has announced that RAW Superstar Alexa Blisswill be on Tuesday's SmackDown to host "A Moment of Bliss" with SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley.
As noted, WWE has also announced that SmackDown will feature the first-ever interview from Lars Sullivan, and an appearance by WWE Hall of Famer Bill Goldberg. Goldberg's WWE Super ShowDownopponent The Undertaker is being advertised locally, but not officially announced by WWE. Taker will be on Monday's RAW.
Below is the announcement on Bayley and Bliss:
A Moment of Bliss" with special guest SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley
One week after Bayley's hard-fought victory over Lacey Evans led to post-match chaos between The Lady and an interfering Charlotte Flair, the SmackDown Women's Champion is scheduled to be Alexa Bliss' special guest on "A Moment of Bliss." How will The Goddess of WWE stir the pot in an already highly volatile Women's division?
