How many title shots does he have to get ? He’s gotten boring and this feud is pointless . Can’t wait until a non Beastcor monster is t champ aka Seth so the title can mean something

    • Braun Legitimately Injured
      By Twisted Bliss
During the post-Raw edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said the angle was done so that Strowman could take time off to undergo elbow surgery.
“Braun Strowman is gonna have elbow surgery so the deal tonight was a cover for that,” Meltzer said.
Meltzer further noted that his status for his match with Corbin at TLC is touch and go at this point, and will depend on the seriousness of the surgery. The belief among WWE officials is that Strowman will be able to face Lesnar at Royal Rumble.
On last night’s edition of the Wrestling Inc. Podcast, former WWE/Impact Wrestling star Matt Morgan said Strowman revealed to him that he’s been working with an injured elbow since his Steel Cage Match with Big Show on Raw last year (September 4, 2017).
“Do you remember about one month ago I told you how he injured his elbow?” Morgan asked his co-hosts.
“The Big Show had accidentally landed on his elbow from one of his elbow drops. I was like, why aren’t they talking about it? Because [Strowman’s] walking awkward, his legs are messed up. It will help you sell something here. I wonder if his elbow got worse, I don’t know.”
According to Meltzer, Strowman has bone spurs in his elbow. This will also give him time to recover from an upper leg injury that he’s been dealing with since at least September. While it’s said to not be too serious, he was healing slowly due to constantly being on the road and it also began to hinder his in-ring performance.
    • Heat on Braun?
      By Twisted Bliss
Mike Johnson provided some interesting news on a recent PWInsider audio show that might put some of this into perspective.
“One of the things that I heard from multiple people – we’re talking 4 different people. There are times where Strowman is negligent when it comes to showing up on time,” Johnson said. He added “He has a reputation at times for leaving a little early and sometimes he makes mistakes in terms of etiquette in the backstage in the locker room. Sometimes, as one person put it, he’s his own worst enemy and his worst advocate. They would be high on him and just when he gets to the point where you would think the next step is putting him into the centerpiece position for the company [then] something happens and he makes some sort of misstep backstage and people within management kind of cool on him and they take a step back.”
Johnson theorized that WWE likes him but they don’t trust him and then management decides to pull back on his push because they don’t trust him to be in the top spot. The stories about showing up late and leaving early are things he heard in the last few days.
It’s ironic because Brock Lesnar has a reputation for leaving the arena immediately after he is done with his segment but there are different rules for him than the rest of the locker room.
