Is Becky vs. Charlotte More Legendary Than Sasha vs. Charlotte?
So like it or not, Becky Lynch is one of the biggest, most groundbreaking stars this decade (tbh, arguably up there with CM Punk and Daniel Bryan) and Charlotte Flair is a bonafide living legend. Now that Charlotte Flair vs. Becky Lynch vs. Ronda Rousey is pretty much set in stone as this year's WrestleMania main event—a historic first ever for a women's bout—as the pay off to quite the impactful rivalry between these three women and a string of acclaimed matches, in hindsight, do you think the road that led us here will be looked at more fondly than the feud between Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte Flair? A rivalry that also opened doors and was once thought to be the banner rivalry for this generation of women. Which rivalry will be seen as more revolutionary, definitive and meaningful for the women's division? Futhermore, which produced the better matches, moments, etc.?
Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey NEED Charlotte Flair?
Forbes recently released an article that, albeit short, put into question Ronda and Becky Lynch's ability to carry a Wrestlemania main event by their lonesome. The article is mainly filler but the passage below is probably the most important:
Considering the next stop will be the most important night in the history of Women's Wrestling, there is a lot at stake. So, is this tea? Charlotte already proved that she can carry Ronda to the best mach of her career thus far.
Can Becky do the same? Or is Charlotte truly NEEDED for the main event to succeed?
Becky Lynch Invited To Raw
By Twisted Bliss
After winning the 2019 Women’s Royal Rumble, Becky Lynch didn’t waste time with who she wanted to face at WrestleMania 35. Lynch showed up on Raw last Monday and challenged Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship.
WWE announced today that Stephanie McMahon has invited Becky Lynch to Raw this Monday. Here is WWE.com’s preview:
“2019 Women’s Royal Rumble Winner and SmackDown LIVE Superstar Becky Lynch, who will challenge Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, has been invited to Raw by Stephanie McMahon.
“This past Monday night, The Man made her decision to challenge The Baddest Woman on the Planet, sparking a heated exchange with The Rowdy One. Despite suffering an apparent knee injury from Charlotte Flair the following night on the blue brand, Lynch remains confident in her ability to unseat Rousey on The Grandest Stage of Them All.
What might Stephanie have in store for The Irish Lass Kicker?”
