Final Trailer for "Godzilla: King of the Monsters"

Quote

The new story follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Starring Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Sally Hawkins, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ken Watanabe, and Zhang Ziyi, the film opens May 31, 2019.

I haven't seen any of them tbh, I know Logan is a stan which is why I tagged. But these trailers have been so good that I'm itching for this :rot:

I think King Kong is the only/first movie in this universe. But Godzilla is next than we’re getting King Kong vs Godzilla

Does the 2014 Godzilla not count?

Either way it looks so good. :shook:

It does count if I remember correctly. It was the first movie in this MonsterVerse.

They've only done two movies in 5 years.

Godzilla 2014 was cute. I didn't see Kong: Skull Island cause I don't really stan, but it does boast a cast of Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, and Brie Larson. They're supposed to be setting up for Godzilla vs. Kong but presently Kong is nowhere near the same size as Godzilla so at some point they'll have to insert some kind of plot device to even the playing field.

I believe in Kong they said when that movie takes place (in the 70s I believe), Kong is just a baby and will magnify in size. I didn't see it either, but I heard in one of the movie new shows I watch n.

I've also read that, but the size difference and how MUCH he has to grow is kinda comical. :rot:

Just saw it. I personally liked it. The titans looked great. The plot was a bit messy and the humour was quite cringey so I can see what the critics saw in that. That said, most people are probably watching for the titans so I think the audience score will be much higher.

Yeah, this is true. No one wants to watch a Godzilla movie for the human plots lmao

Lol. The audience score is 91% so this clearly reflects that.
