CM Punk Blasts The Miz With Harsh Adult Language

"Oh yeah, we are now done with WWE Backstage," The Miz said. "They are taking the microphones off me. It was great, it was amazing. I feel like this was the best WWE Backstage episode ever. It was the best... was it the best-ever?"

Miz continued to chat back & forth with Renee and Paige over his episode being the best.

He said, "What do you mean in and around? Name one that was better. Name one."

Renee named the first episode that had Ember Moon as the featured guest, which aired on November 19.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't 'change the culture,' My bad. My bad," Miz said, responding as if Renee had named Punk's first Backstage appearance, which was on November 12.

As you may remember, Punk made a surprise appearance at the end of the November 12 Backstage episode, which was his first WWE-related appearance since 2014. He plugged his first official appearance, which took place the following week, and mentioned a line about changing the culture.

"It's as simple as this, just when they think they've got the answers, I change the culture," Punk said to the camera that night. "I'll see you here next week."

It looks like the line heard this week from The Miz is a reference to the line Punk made during his debut.

Punk hasn't appeared on Backstage in several weeks, and will make just his third full appearance on January 21. FOX did make it clear when Punk was signed that he would not be appearing every single week, but most fans expected him to be on more shows than he has. This has led to a lot more criticism for Punk on social media.

#FirePunk! He's so cringe, it was never that serious and his little "I'm a WWE rebel who works for FOX tehe" gimmick is so annoying. Got your shit ROCKED in UFC, out of a job, then ran back to the WWE. Pathetic, glad fans are chewing his ass up for noshowing this world tour like he's some sort of popstar.

Go against Rosa, your career will be elusive.

From the short period of time this show has been on the only time I actually hear anything about it if it’s Punk related.

My random life-long dislike of this man being vindicated more and more as time goes on. My phoebe from charmed, empath powers continuing to work about 75% of the time

    • CM Punk Comments on Current State of WWE, Wrestlers Doing “Too Sweet” and Taking Photos with Triple H, More
      By Jacqulee
WWE Backstage analyst CM Punk took to Twitter today and commented on WWE as it appears he is catching up on material for his return to the show on Tuesday at 11pm ET on FS1.
Punk first asked fans if a Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles match was any good.
He wrote, “I gotta watch a @FinnBalor V @AJStylesOrg match for a segment we are doing on @WWEonFOX tomorrow. Is it any good? [emoji face with monacle]”
Punk then commented on the “too sweet” gesture that Styles, Balor and The OC do, which originated with 2020 WWE Hall of Famers the nWo. He also poked fun at how wrestlers, mainly new champions and call-ups or signings, take backstage photos with Triple H.
He wrote, “I don’t get the ‘too sweet’ thing. Rasslin cosplay. Side bar, does everyone just take pics with @TripleH now?”
Punk continued and seemed amazed at the pro wrestling world in 2019.
He added, “Man. What a different world. I’m basically unfrozen caveman lawyer. Your world frightens and confuses me. #rasslin”
Punk also GIF responded to a WWE On FOX tweet welcoming him back to the show, and saying host Renee Young will take care of him. You can see the related tweets below:

    • CM Punk On Hulk Hogan: “I’ve Met Him. I Like Him Even Less Now”
      By Jacqulee
Former WWE superstar and current WWE Backstage analyst CM Punk participated in WINDY CITY LIVE’S 2 Minute Warning, where the Second City Savior was asked about his favorite wrestler growing up.
When the interviewer mentioned Hulk Hogan as an option, Punk fired back by stating that he was never a Hogan guy.
Check out the full clip below, where Punk talks about his Royal Rumble title showdown with The Rock, his guilty pleasure of eating Ramen, and his new horror movie Girl on the Third Floor.

    • Seth Rollins Calls CM Punk a Coward In Response to WWE Backstage Comments
      By Jacqulee
As noted earlier, CM Punk appeared on FS1’s WWE Backstage this week and had some interesting words for Seth Rollins after host Renee Young asked Punk what Rollins can do to get his edge back.
Punk talked about how Rollins should just relax and stop tweeting. You can read our recap of Punk’s segment with video by clicking here.
“Just go on a hiatus. Delete it from your phone, dude,” Punk said of Rollins on Twitter. He continued, “Just delete it. You’re not doing yourself any favors.”
Rollins took to Twitter after WWE Backstage and responded to Punk’s comments, calling him a coward.
Rollins wrote, “HELL of a “response.” [face with rolling eyes emoji]. Coward.”
Punk has not responded to Rollins’ tweet as of this writing but stay tuned. You can see Rollins’ full tweet below:
