I don't think Trish would've agreed to come back only to be Asuka's bitch in her hometown. Mickie, however, is more than thrilled to have taken the role for the evening.
Hopefully they still do the whole Asuka heel thing cause I'm not here for another face vs. face match with Ember like she did with Bayley.
As previously mentioned, WWE originally approached Trish Stratus to face WWE NXT Women’s Champion Asuka at “Takeover: Toronto” this November, but Trish is expecting her second child. The idea was to use Trish in Toronto as a way to turn up the Asuka heel heat.
The announcement of Mickie vs. Asuka had a lot of fans wondering why Asuka wasn’t defending against a current NXT roster member. The idea behind Asuka’s match at Takeover was that she would go at Trish as a strong heel to allow Ember Moon to be a stronger babyface against Asuka, instead of the athletic competition angle Asuka vs. Bayley had.
WWE confirmed that Mickie vs. Asuka will be for the title. There’s still no word yet on Mickie’s post-Takeover future but as of last week, she was back just for this match, which could easily change.

the twitter feminists would end the company if WWE booked a bra & panties match, maybe except for "free the nipple!!" feminists from tumblr who color their armpit hair in rainbow would be okay.
I personally don't care either way. If they book B&P match, I wouldn't have a problem. If they don't, I would have a problem either. If the match is booked good and the storyline is lit is all I care.
I would, however, care and sign petitions to bring Tuxedo matches back and book John Cena, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, etc. etc. rather than Santino and Ricardo
