Nikki Bella's WWE Future And Possible Return To The Ring

Sunday's season 4 finale of WWE's Total Bellas saw Nikki Bella announce her retirement from the ring after 12 years with WWE. TMZ reports that Nikki still has a great working relationship with WWE, and the door is definitely open for a future return to the ring.

Nikki is stepping away from the ring to focus on other business ventures and projects, and because of the wear & tear on her body, but sources close to her told TMZ that she still loves pro wrestling, still loves WWE and would be interested in making special cameo appearances in the future, as long as the timing is right.

Regarding her working relationship with WWE, word is that Nikki will sign on as a WWE Ambassador. This has not been officially announced by WWE. TMZ reports that Total Bellas will also continue into the future.

I need people to look up the definitions of words before they use them. Hiatus seems to be what Nikki meant.

Nah, I think a hiatus is what she was on these last few times. But this seems and feels more serious/permanent. Like she's officially done except for a guest appearance/one off big match like Beth is doing or like Michelle/Torrie/Kelly, or Trish and Lita (minus the 15 returns), rather than coming back for months st a time and live events.

At least that's the vibe I got, which is why I'm way sadder than I was the other times she left.

I definitely agree with you. I think they're both truly finished with active in ring competition, but I also feel like they've retired nine other times and then come back for another run lol

Brie is the only one that said she retired, after WM32, and even then, upon elaboration, she was defining it more as a break to work on what she wants to accomplish in her personal life. And that she'd come back every now and then.

Nikki's hard headed ass knew better than to ever say she was retired, because the reality of the situation is that she never wants to stop. She's candidly said she'd go until she can't anymore. Even when she was in a full on neckbrace and told she won't wrestle again, she never said she was retired. That's why this shit hit me so hard.
