                         CM Punk

Former WWE superstar and current WWE Backstage analyst CM Punk participated in WINDY CITY LIVE’S 2 Minute Warning, where the Second City Savior was asked about his favorite wrestler growing up.

      Quote

      Rowdy Roddy Piper. Hands down.

When the interviewer mentioned Hulk Hogan as an option, Punk fired back by stating that he was never a Hogan guy.

      Quote

No, I wasn’t a Hogan guy. I’ve met him and I like him even less now.

Check out the full clip below, where Punk talks about his Royal Rumble title showdown with The Rock, his guilty pleasure of eating Ramen, and his new horror movie Girl on the Third Floor.

WWE Backstage analyst CM Punk took to Twitter today and commented on WWE as it appears he is catching up on material for his return to the show on Tuesday at 11pm ET on FS1.
Punk first asked fans if a Finn Balor vs. AJ Styles match was any good.
He wrote, “I gotta watch a @FinnBalor V @AJStylesOrg match for a segment we are doing on @WWEonFOX tomorrow. Is it any good? [emoji face with monacle]”
Punk then commented on the “too sweet” gesture that Styles, Balor and The OC do, which originated with 2020 WWE Hall of Famers the nWo. He also poked fun at how wrestlers, mainly new champions and call-ups or signings, take backstage photos with Triple H.
He wrote, “I don’t get the ‘too sweet’ thing. Rasslin cosplay. Side bar, does everyone just take pics with @TripleH now?”
Punk continued and seemed amazed at the pro wrestling world in 2019.
He added, “Man. What a different world. I’m basically unfrozen caveman lawyer. Your world frightens and confuses me. #rasslin”
Punk also GIF responded to a WWE On FOX tweet welcoming him back to the show, and saying host Renee Young will take care of him. You can see the related tweets below:

As noted earlier, CM Punk appeared on FS1’s WWE Backstage this week and had some interesting words for Seth Rollins after host Renee Young asked Punk what Rollins can do to get his edge back.
Punk talked about how Rollins should just relax and stop tweeting. You can read our recap of Punk’s segment with video by clicking here.
“Just go on a hiatus. Delete it from your phone, dude,” Punk said of Rollins on Twitter. He continued, “Just delete it. You’re not doing yourself any favors.”
Rollins took to Twitter after WWE Backstage and responded to Punk’s comments, calling him a coward.
Rollins wrote, “HELL of a “response.” [face with rolling eyes emoji]. Coward.”
Punk has not responded to Rollins’ tweet as of this writing but stay tuned. You can see Rollins’ full tweet below:
